I need some info on the Hutchinson's that lived in the Poplar Bluff, MO area during the Civil War, the Roberts' who lived in western Kentucky and possibly West Tennessee. And the Lee's who were living in Kentucky at the same time.

From what I know they were all living in their respective areas during the War Between the States, but I do not know if they were Confederate, Union or both. Looking at the regions though, it wouldn't be too hard to imagine that a fair shake of them were Confederate.

    Can somebody help out?

    Interesting find tonight!

On my Grandma's side of the family, I found out her grandfather's wife's father/grandfather/or uncle was Bushrod W. Allin, who was a Cavalryman under John Hunt Morgan in the 2nd Kentucky Cavalry CSA and he was from Harrodsburg, KY.

So could anybody help on the Allin's of Mercer County, KY and possibly the Lee family in the same region?

Great finds. Have you checked out the John Hunt Morgan Association site? It is very interesting and lists all units that served with Morgan.

I have family from Mercer County. My grandmother and her father, great grandfather, were born there. Their last name was Wheat.

I actually popped back in here last night to check and see if anyone said anything, and I found Bushrod's brother! Thanks everyone, I now have 2 relatives that were in the CS Army.
