Hello from Ohio

    I recently got a 1862 Springfield
    My ramrod has the treads messed up.
    Was wondering if anyone knows the proper size the treads should be.
    Was thinking on trying run it thru the proper size die.

    My paternal Great Great Grandfather was in Co.A 54th Pennsylvania in 1865.
    Records show he was released as a prisoner of war. Joined in March, released from duty in May
